Fácil de mantener.
El motor Mercury Diesel 3.0L facilita el mantenimiento colocando los puntos de servicio en la parte delantera del motor. Los puntos de servicio de aceite, refrigerante, caja de fusibles, filtro de agua, lubricación (aplica para dentro y fuera de borda únicamente) y fluido de la dirección asistida (aplica para dentro y fuera de borda únicamente) están ubicados en la parte delantera del motor junto al indicador de mantenimiento de Mercury, codificado por color para proporcionar pautas de servicio fáciles de entender y de fácil acceso.
Rediseñando el estándar.
El nuevo motor de alta velocidad Mercury Diesel 3.0L common-rail ofrece un rendimiento excepcional y mejoras esenciales de máxima aceleración y velocidad. Todo gracias a un nuevo diseño de “turbocompresor de geometría variable” (VGT) refrigerado por agua. Este sistema, además de ser un sistema de control de última generación, proporciona un excelente rendimiento general en el motor Mercury Diesel de 3.0 litros.

El filtro de aire funciona como un silenciador que elimina el ruido turbo asociado históricamente con los motores Diesel, al igual los soportes del motor están diseñados para reducir la vibración. Resistencia a la corrosión.
Los motores Mercury diésel cuentan con la technología más avansada contra corrosión, incluyendo un enfriador cerrado a base de agua y controlado por un termostato. Aceite del motor, aceite para engranajes y líquido de dirección enfriados a base de agua controlan la temperatura en la sala de máquinas, prolongando la vida útil del motor. El sistema SeaCore ® está disponible para protección máxima contra el agua de mar.
